Giveaway Winner and Fashion Disaster

WORKOUT:
25 min weights
15 min elliptical
60 min pilates class

Don't you love it when you are sore? The "in a good way" sore? Not like you can't walk down the stairs without wincing, but that good amount that tells you pushed yourself and really hit the area you were targeting? I do! I can feel it in my triceps and abs currently and must admit it feels REALLY good.

Whenever I can feel the burn like that it always makes me want to work HARDER and PUSH more next time! Which is so funny because you might think the opposite. I think it is because I can feel the actual MUSCLES being used throughout the day and it makes me want to do more. I don't know, I must be crazy... but I really LOVE that feeling.

Hmm... what should I make sore tomorrow? ;)

Janae asked for AMAZING fashion tips the other day and I just happen to be making quite the statement lately myself. (Yes, she was joking... more like HORRIBLE fashion tips.)

Mind you the day started off with a little date and I originally had on a skirt and heels with this sweater. But then I busted out these bad boys as soon as I came home, and then they never came off.

The best thing about these sweats is that they originally belonged to Vance, Ben's dad. Then Vance gave them to Ben and then Ben tried to give them away... but I snagged them. They are OLD. Plus, the drawstring has a permanent knot stuck in them. The jaws of life couldn't undo this knot, trust me, I tried it. But they so comfy I can't help myself!

No big deal, you can wear whatever you want around your house right? Well... I totally went to my hair appointment like this. Except I decided to jazz it up further by throwing in my trusty vest. I wear this thing EVERYWHERE because I love it so.

Please note the awesome ankle socks with the slip on shoes. Nothing matches here.

Good thing my hairdresser doesn't judge. Part of why I love her so much. ;)

I KNOW I know better... but sometimes sweats are just calling my name.

We can't all be fashionistas 24/7 right?

Now for His and Her's lunch of the day.

Ben had a Double Turkey Pattie Avocado Sandwich.

Please note the attention to detail with the avocado piece stuck in the hole our bread-maker leaves in our bread loaves. Very artistic.

I had a giant Green Turkey Salad with cucumbers, celery, jicama, cilantro, broccoli, lemon juice, coconut oil and s&p. It might sound kinda plain but it was actually very flavorful.

My diet is all about eating as many greens as I can right now. I will fill you in on it later.

Tell me a fashion confession!
This is embarrassing... but I am wearing those sweats AGAIN right now. Another fashion disaster. I need to leave the house soon but I don't know if I am strong enough to change.

Are you sore right now? What did you work?!?
Mmm... abs and triceps.

  1. Congrats to the winner! And I love wearing sweats around my house! I may or may not be wearing huge baggy sweats as I type this...

  2. Speaking of details about your diet, I am still waiting to hear about your decision to back away from the vegan diet. It seemed like one minute you were telling us you could do it forever and the next minute it was over. You said you would fill us, your readers, in on that later, and haven't done it yet. I have been patient... :) And I think you should send me some of that licorice as a consolation prize. Baby needs some. Haha, jk.

  6. hahaha! you are so awesome for rocking that outfit to get your hair done. I actually have a velour tracksuit of my dad's from the 80s that I'll still wear around. I look awesome and retro and it's SOOOO comfortable. I did have to scale down the pants, though, because they were humungous on me. Maybe I should post a picture. They are ridiculous!
