Anyone Out There?

It's been a LONG time! Like 3 years a long time. I kind of can't believe that. Lots has happened since then, here are a few highlights!

We lived in California for 2 1/2 great years. It was our first duty station in the Navy and I got my feet wet as far as real military life goes. We also experienced our first deployment as Ben deployed to Japan for 7 months. He came home just in time to welcome our baby girl into our family.
Motherhood is hard, that is no joke. But also the most rewarding and amazing experience. There is nothing like having your own little baby and watching them grow and learn. She has been such a happy girl and brings so much happiness into our lives.
She is already a year old but going on 5. She thinks she is such a big girl and loves playing with other big kids.
This last April we moved from California to Hawaii. Yup, I said Hawaii! We love it so much. It is amazing to be surrounded by so much beauty on a daily basis. We truly feel blessed for the opportunity to be here.
Oh, and we can't forget about this guy... we also got Tank! We adopted him from a rescue before Ben left on deployment. He was such a good buddy while Ben was gone and now he is the best playmate with Juliet. She LOVES him. He definitely thinks he is human which makes him all the more entertaining. He is 2, cause I am sure you were dying to know that.
So in the past few years, those are some of the big changes that happened with us. And then a million other little things. Being a momma is pretty all encompassing, but I am excited to get back into some hobbies and outlets that I enjoy. This being one of them.

Don't worry, some things haven't changed at all. I am still a poor speller, use too many commas and never catch all my mistakes before I push "post," so that should be comforting.

So I wanted to say "hey"! HEY! And maybe some people are still out there in this big bloggy blogosphere world.

(Footnote: The look of this page is so out of date. Old pictures, information, etc. I will be working on giving it a face lift and getting it up to speed.)

Thanks!
