Tennis time with Ben
Sorry I am was M.I.A. for a couple days. We headed to Bear Lake AGAIN. This time with Ben's family for a few days. So fun! I made sure on Monday that I got in a solid workout before we left and then knew I would get some runs in on the vacation. Plus, staying active and doing fun activities are great things to help get your workout too! Water sports, tennis, bad-mitten or similar things are all calorie burners! Just be a little creative and you can definitely stay active.
Running is the easiest way for me to keep up on my workouts while vacationing and away from home. All you need is yourself! It is easy to head out for a quick run first thing in the morning before all the family wakes up and you miss out on any fun. PLUS, it is so BEAUTIFUL in the morning! The lake was so blue and there is nothing like a run on a peaceful morning.
PS, you can also invite people to come along with you! Then it is even more fun! Not that anyone took me up on it THIS trip. But hey, you just keep on asking. ;)

I recently finished the quilts I was making with my Mom! They turned out so cute, it was very encouraging!
I MAY even make some more. Who knows. ;)
This one I made for Lynzy and gave it to her at her baby shower. Maybe it was a little embarrassing how shocked everyone was that I made it! "Wait... YOU made that Holley!?!!!" Ah! Haha, I must not come off very domestically crafty. Oh well. ;)

I also throw my resistance band in my bag whenever I leave home. In a pinch, you can get in some good resistance training and it takes up like NO room!
